Festival: Dragon Boat Festival/ Double Fifth Festival

Holiday Time: 8th-10th June （on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar）

Traditions:

1)Eat Zongzi,

2)Dragon Boat Race,

3)Putcalamus, Artemisia, and garlic above the doors, These were believed to help ward off evil by their strong smell and their shape 

4)praying for good luck and taking respite from the summer heat.
